ImageBarktoberfest is a community event scheduled for Saturday 18th October, in the heart of dog-friendly Newtown. Held at the historic St Stephen's Church Hall and grounds, this all-weather event is designed for dog lovers wanting to hang out with like-minded folk and find out more about great nutrition, holistic therapies and great products available to our four-legged friends.

Barktoberfest’s range of exhibitors have a host of treats in store for visitors. To follow is a sampler of what’s on the menu:

• Chew-Chew specialise in home delivered organic pet food and their health supplements. Fresh food samples and Doggie Cappuccinos will be on offer on the day.

• Baliz Woof Woof specialise in organic pet food and will have sample bags of organic liver treats available.

• Wellbeing for Dogs have their Heart and Bowl meals and a wholefood nutritional supplement for pets and will have samples available.
